Whirlpool Dishwasher does not clean cups properly

Have you tried topping up the rinse aid even though the indicator doesn't suggest any is needed? How about the salt level as well? Sometimes the sensor get jammed or fail so it is worth trying a few simple manual tricks before calling an engineer.

    Fan Wiring

Thanks BAS, thought as much. We do not have a three pole isolator only a pull chord. I suppose the three pole is a means to break the circuit without having to trip the fuse out or turning the sytem off completely for maintenance purposes? Is it a legal requiremnt? When you mention...

    Fan Wiring

We have a timed fan in a WC. I have just discovered it is wired using T&E with the earth wire (wrapped in red tape either end) as the live feed for the timer part of the fan. I would not have thought this is legal and four core should be used. Is the former legal. the fan itself does not...

    Bosh Washer Dryer not spinning

It won't be the brushes, or shouldn't be. If the machine is revolving at all it won't be the brushes. In fact unless you run the machine for 24 hrs a day, one year woul dnot be enough to wear the brushes. I would have thought the machine is not 'spining' in dry mode, but merely revolving...

Bosch WFF 1201 refuses to spin.

Can also be heating element kaput. We had this with WFF2000, engineer went through all the unblocking procedures and then replaced the heating element. Worth checking to see if the water heats up on a wash.

    bosch dishwasher

Have you tried re-set. Usually presing two of the control buttons together. Then bail out and check the re-circ pump for debris. Sounds to me like a control panel issue though.

Bosch pre wash light comming on!

So did we [obviously]. We went for an AEG this time - so far so good, wash is better, machine is quieter and higher spin speed. Thanks for your reply I'll not feel guilty about dumping it now.

    Bosch Dishwasher SGS66

Your control panel has probably gone. We had similar problems with our Bosch - not sure which model, however, repair man arrived under extended warranty and replaced the conrol panel. It has been replaced twice now.

Bosch pre wash light comming on!

it may be the pump then or alternatively something in the control panel. Incidentally our motor just packed up and I replaced the brushes to no avail, so we are about to invest in a new machine. You would be welcome to canabalise our machine for spares if you like. I am in the Chislehurst...
