HW & CH are both on, at the moment one dont seam to work without the other, if i have any one on, the boiler dont seem to work. The pump is on speed 3 Yes it chucks water into the tank in the loft when the boiler is running.

I didn`t replace the whole lot, just the motor. If i have got a blockage, how would i sort that out.. Also, what if one of the pipes was closed how would i know what should be open and closed ?

It should, but it`s overheated again and all gone off.

Ohh, the valve...all 3 are roasting... I was talking about the hot water tank not getting any water. It used to until i turned the heating on, then it all went pear shaped from there on.

The pipe at the top and middle are cold. The pipe at the bottom is a T junction and is red hot although the actual pipe going INTO the bottom of the tank is cold. And all that rattling does sound like there is air in there somewhere.

The hot water tank is not storing hot water, the boiler has fired up now, dunno what i did though...

it`s a BAXI SOLO 2 PF. The boiler light is on, but none of the others are. I was working fine yesterday apart form keeping over heating.

:) yes, that`s about the size of it.... If the stat on the hot water tank was not working, would that make a difference.

yes, and now the boiler wont start. i replaced it exactly how i took it out, i know it works because it switches when i turn the heating and water on and off.

how much does it cost for a plumber to come out and look at my heating ? I am in clacton Essex

If i have the HW and CH on, i can get CH but the HW dont heat up. If i have HW on then the whole boiler goes off including all the lights.

so does the valve lever suppose to move back and forth very much depending on wether it wants CH or HW. I`ve only ever seen it on the left, although it does make noises when i turn the heating on, but when i do the boiler over heats, so if i replace the - Motorised valve Syncron, will that sort...

he come down the other day. all was working but the pipes banged and the boiler kept overheating when the CH was turned on. He replaiced the stat on the hot water tank and now nothing seams to be working

all the pipes are now cold, although the boiler is heating the water, it overheats when the water is off and the heating is on

yes, there is tension on it, when i push it to the right. It never goes to the right any other time though
