I dont think you would get many options on the astragal bar for aluminium windows. Are you talking about the depth of the r9 from front to back being 100mm?

If you have an opening of over 4000mm I would go for lift and slide uptown about 3600 I would go bi fold. Aluk and smarts are decent oprions. Origin bit more high end.

That's would either have 2 pins one comes out from the top and one from the bottom but I would have said it would have had 2 Allen keys to hold them in. If it's just one pinbpush it up from the bottom. It will take some hitting due to the weight of the door. Just make sure there is not a Allen...

If they are aluminium bi folds go to a metal fabrication company and get an aluminium pressing made 50 x 25 and slide it under the door. We use pressings a lot to reduce the height of the threshold.

Can't you use french doors

Looks like a security bead but they are generally glazed from outside.

Yes you can have that height in the standard aluk door. To give you an idea the cost to supply and fit would be around £4750 + vat in white , grey or Black that is with standard low e double glazed units. If you want to go up a level to the aluk f82 you would be looking around £280 more per door...

We do Aluk but I will check that you can get them at 2395 high. Not sure you can with the bsf70 but maybe the f82. We also do origin and reynaers. Also do lift and slide patio doors.

10.8 laminated hope the hinges can take it. Never known that before in domestic.
