Why PVA? Surely youd be better using a thinned down coat of emmulsion, PVA will seal the wall, meaning its difficult to paint, use PVA or size for wallpapering not for painting

Why dont you just use trade gloss from B and Q, the boards are already primed and it will give a longer lasting finish, you will regret rushing it in years to come, especially when you want to rub all that thick paint off, thats if it doesnt chip off first!!!!

Do yourself a favour and put a carpet down, if its cold now it will always be cold. You can fill the joints by mixing the sanding dust with glue and putting it in the gaps, then resand when dry. If your house is a cold house I really would advise against keeping them exposed, I did it at...
