Rising main being the feed to the water tank, join the top pipe to the bottom feed pipe of the water tank? Even though I'll be capping it off and tapping the hot from the kitchen? So are you saying convert it to 15mm then cap it off? Any ideas how much of the hot will be in 22mm?

Removed the complete brass diverter assembly, fitted the small O ring at the back of the rear spindle, although there wasn't one fiited, all seems well now...

Found this, i didnt remove the complete assembly fitted the new diaphragm in situ. So it looks like i need to remove the complete unit, fit the smal O ring at the rear of the brass body and refit? https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/baxi-combi-80e-leak.437674/ Is that correct?

Got a problem, there is a slight leak coming from the rear of the diverter valve, the bottom screw is tight but it appears to be coming from the hole in the middle, I thought maybe a screw got loose, but it doesn't look threaded Any ideas?

All sorted! The button on the microswitch looks like it had failed. Replaced the diverter valve as good practice, although the original one looked fine. Many thanks for your guidance! :)

Checked with the seller the part does indicate which wire goes where will also replace the diaphragm as the boiler is getting on a bit Will let you know how i get on Thanks

There are three terminals on the new microswitch if you search the forum for part no 248207 this matches the ad. Also provided pic of original part to seller he has confirmed it is 100% right

I've had it confirmed with the seller that it is correct via the gc number, will have to cut the wires as the wiring loom has other connections and costs a bit more

This is a three wire microswitch the wiring is integrated into it

I've looked at the microswitch/flow switch, opening the tap the pin pops out, closing the tap the pin returns back into the neutral position. Should i be hearing a distinct click when the pin hits the microswitch? as i didn't hear anything.. No signs of water ingress whatsoever either

Well I've had a plumber come up and he has suggested an ideal logic plus or vogue Combi boiler 35kw Is this a good boiler?

So should i upgrade the cylinder as you suggested or would it be better to rip the lot out and get a combi fitted instead?
