Changing it as the stat is in the hall, which is always freezing, so one room can be boiling and the CH is still chugging away as the hall still says its cold.

So all I really need is a perm Live & Neutral for the L and N of the new plate? And the red and yellow wire go into A and B or A and C? Will it work then? Thanks

I see what you mean, just lifted up the cap and it looks like the valve is weeping! Looks like this will need replacing as well! :( I have attached some pictures of the wiring from the thermostat, control panel and the box in the airing cupbaord as a few have requested. Thanks
