Can u out the pir on its own zone ? Or is it part of the door loop lol

I would start with the resistance of the loop

What panel is it? How many contacts on each zone

1 loop 2 zones?

Meter the resistance of the reed switches probably find one that's higher than the others. Are they all on one loop or seperate cables to panel

As long as its not programmed for engineer restore you will be able to reset the tamper alarm with code or tag.

Are the batterys in the correct way? Have the battery voltages been verified? Do the LEDS light up when the batterys are inserted? Are the metal prongs at either side making good contact? Is there any corrosion on the PCB?

Basically, if the 12v supply is removed from the external siren (ie removing mains and battery power from the control panel), it should sound from it's internal battery. The panel is at least 30 years old so it would be assumed that the bellbox is also, so the bell battery may be no good. Only 1...
