Falling water levels in toilet pan

The set up we have doesn't use an AAV. We just have pipe venting. The new toilet is a close coupled cistern and pan and the location of the soil pipe was for an older toilet. This means that the waste pipe from the old pan would have been farther out from the wall. This means that for the...

Falling water levels in toilet pan

We recently just installed a close coupled toilet with internal overflow. Over the last week we've noticed something a bit weird. When we flush the toilet the water will settle at the level it's meant to be at in the pan. If we come back about an hour later the water level in the pan has...

    Bath fixings/anchors

The brother in-law, who is a joiner, and myself "bodged" together a frame last night and over the course or 4 1/2 hours we managed to get all the parts of the frame inserted along the long side of the bath and then sealed it again with silicone on the top side and expanding foam on the lower...

    Bath fixings/anchors

Nope they didn't seal it when the bath was full. If that woudl solve the problem It might not be as big a problem to fix as I first thought. I had visions of having to take out the vanity unit so I could get the bath panel off and squeeze some type of supporting brace in at the back of the bath...

    WC with intregral overflow

We've just had a close coupled toilet fitted today with internal overflow. I'm very impressed with this over our old toilet. The only problem I have is that at the minute it seems to be overflowing through the internal overflow all the time. I suppose I'll have to get the plumber back, but...
