    ive just done my bathroom and that grout is a brastuard to get off if u leave it to go hard, u can get get ceramic tile type strips instead of ur plastic thing which maybe why its not stickin properly...being plastic.

    ive got a multimeter which i use at work on cars will this be suitable for house voltage, amps etc...it has insulated prongs, havent got the instuctions so cant see any ratings on it...

    well as i said im not an electrician im a very good mechanic i didnt know showers were such a high wattage until now... thats why i thought connecting to lighting would be o.k, but obviosly not... so i would have to use a 10mm cable, and connect to its own fuse in the cu, couldnt i just isolate...

    just a quick question as im fitting a shower what is mcb and rcbo, i think they are old and new fuses 1 being a tripper, but im new to this... i was just gonna connect the shower to the light fitting but reading this post has made it all complicated for me. i take it the light feed will not...
