    We have just bought a place - lots to do! having a look at the loft insulation - its like pop corn! loose fibrous stuff, the surveyor said it was mineral based not asbestos its definitely not enough tho! maybe 10 cm - just up to the level of the joists. We would like to add some more...

    took me and the missus about 6 hours yesterday... we should aim for about 10 cms under the joists for air flow? i like the soft wood on the wall for mounting rather than hangars,, actually I see the builders just sat the original joists on dwarf walls.... IMG_6833 by scrambler posted...

    sad to say cant give a model number altho it does have an RF remote control which says "alpha" on it. the boiler it self just says Baxi it does have a little bit of leak when u change a boiler surely it just hooks up to the existing pipe network? -
