    TNC-S main bonding question...

I don't think so but I haven't looked at that yet to be fair. It's a terraced town house with the service head in the garage which is under their front 1st floor and the water intake at the back so it's unlikely. Is there any provision for using the existing bonding if it meets max Zs?

    TNC-S main bonding question...

That confuses me a bit as I read 544.1.1 as not pertaining to PME supplies & 543.1.1 as excluding protective conductors?

    TNC-S main bonding question...

...before I walk away from a CU change & other work, not the end of the world but hey. Existing is all 6mm, the gas is easy enough to sort but the householder is reluctant to accept the upheaval involved in sorting the water. There's no sign of thermal damage & I'm aware of the regs & best...

Neither their company name or indeed the registrant of their domain (one of the J's) are registered on the LABC competent persons site, that's not conclusive though of course.

I think they're more likely to be Australian judging by the orientation of the cable clip.

I think I got it right...

It has a cpc now ;) I found it when doing an R1+R2 test, it's spurred from a JB and as you can see from the pic below it had a cpc when it left it but had mysteriously disappeared by the time it met the outlet, it's the cable going 'north'. It hadn't been snipped back at the terminal end and...

    Does this need an RCD?

I wasn't enraged enough by it initially to write a stiff letter & it promptly fell off my list of things to complain about and subsequently from my memory. After seeing it again I'm now furious and will be contacting the relevant authorities asap, probably.

    Does this need an RCD?

No idea. The reason I'm surprised it hasn't been rectified is that it is in a public trolley park of a large wholesalers and you'd think that someone there would have an idea about health & safety or at least someone would care about it.
