    ISP country of origin.

You can't do that. A lot of sites do a reverse lookup and suss where you're from. Try it with www.yahoo.com I have found the answer though; www.strongproxy.com

    ISP country of origin.

If I go to www.yahoo.com, then down the left I get UK weather information. I presume my ISP reports my location (country-wise)? How can I fool it into thinking I live in the States? -- I want to see US prices on a website. Thanks Neil

    CALL CENTRE SCAMS!!!!

That makes iit pretty clear to me Bob. It's not the money you can get, it jealousy of others. Why are you so concerned with what others get? If they are sat on their arses then why don't you set up that kinda company? The truth is they are probably paying for the call centre, the accountancy...

    CALL CENTRE SCAMS!!!!

£28 an hour is £58k a year. All overheads - CORGI etc can be claimed off your tax allowance, so they don't have such high true cost.. Equivilent to an all paid in salary above the £35k a year. Now, I can see you don't like a business getting the 60%..., but I wouldn't say that...

    RECESTION ON THE WAY

But, if there is a recession, then leaders will no longer be able to offer you 4x your income, so you'll be no better off, and actually less likely to afford a house. The only real house price drop (more than 5%) has only happened once. And prices were restored in 1-24 months.. ... It's...

You have only yourselves to blame

So where are all the labour supporters that were on previous posts? Personally, I'm gutted by the result. I can't physically believe the kind of turnover Labour achieved in their key seats! Where are these people so happy?

    General Election

Yeah, fair play kendor, but you have to try. I DO believe that Tories would save my hospital (its the local MP that'll want it to secure his vote). It DO believe Howard will be more independant of Bush, and It will change the man at the top.., so that's 3 out of 5, and 3 more than I'll...

    General Election

Exactly the point I think! You don't know what voting Tory is going to get you. BUT, what I do know is exactly what Labour has given me, and I don't like it. So, if like you suggest I say "Well Labour has given me nothing and vastly lowered my standard of living, but I'll vote for them...

    General Election

 Excellent. Micheal Howard, Sheriff of Nottingham.., taxing the poor to help the rich. Luckily Robin 'Blair' Hood will save us.

    General Election

You're right. It would be totally different ball game if we didn't vote for the man that makes the decisions..!? :? That front man personality is the one that's going to decide your next five years.. so.. yes, I kinda agree. I do vote for the front man as well as the party.

    General Election

The arguments about Tories seem to be; Their stuck in the past, and Look at how much mess they caused last time. But. Labour have changed - became new labour. Why don't people thing the Tories could? - its a weak assumption that they won't. The Tories did a massive amount of...

Last nights TV prog about the police on BBC 1

    Joining your neighbours extension

Thanks Guys, I will have to speak to the council, and I will post the answer if anyone's interested. My neighbours extension is a straight forward box extension running along our boundary. I presumably he must consent to me doing the same? I imagine I would like to join to this wall...

    Joining your neighbours extension

I thought it would be a lot more simple than this. If the rooms don't touch.., then if your neighbour gets an extension, then they effectively take up part of your land. Moreover, happy that they won't touch.., but what do I do? - leave an inch wide gap? Thousands of people must hit...

I live in a semi, and the neighbour has a box extension out back. Now I want to get an extension. What are the rules? :?: Do I join his extension, or leave a gap? His extension runs along our joint boundry. Any ideas?
