Hi, there is a gap in my Juliet balcony window and there is draft coming in from there. I have tried to explain where the gap is from this picture. Please could anyone tell if it's something I can fix myself? Thanks.

Yes it's the combined overflow filler. Will try to get the same size, else will have to think of another option. Here is the overflow pipe end.

Tub is on the first floor so I am guessing shallow trap is ok. Is an old house and drains go straight outside.

Thanks. I can get rid of the popup waste but why do I need to take the overflow off? (I could just take the black cable off at the end and leave it loose) Thing is the overflow and tap for the tub are in the same unit. So the overflow has a water inlet for cold and hot as well and a mixer on it.

Thank you for your help everyone. I am going to have a go at doing this myself. I opened the top drain and found this.. the white washer is completely gone. There is a grey plastic surround under the drain which was easy to break off. What part is this? Just wondering what I need to buy to do...

Sounds good. Should I install a new waste unit or just reinstall existing one.. doing this for the first time so any tips? Plumbers putty or silicone?

Made more progress. It seems it's where the tub is connected to the drain pipe that is leaking. Can this be fixed or will we need a new tub?

Thanks. Please see updated photos and video. It's weird because the tub is dry and taps closed. So wonder where the flow is coming from.

Hi, I have discovered that there is a consistent slow drip. Even with the tap closed. Should I change/have a go at tightening these fittings. Or is the problem likely a valve/tap gland? Thanks.

Hi So I got the trap changed a few months ago and now I see this leak (watch video). Any advise on what it is as that doesn't seem to be the trap. Thanks!

Actually just managed to do it! Brute force by just pulling it at an angle and then vertical.. it was stuck. Thanks everyone!

There are two visible screws which hold the seat to the lid. I managed to unscrew these. Once this is removed you see in the picture what's left with the shafts. However then I tried to move it/pull it without any luck. Will try to yank vertically. Any idea on the make/brand of these? I can't...

No fixings on the underside, I checked that first.
