    Floor Sanding - Sanding Sheets

A quick question that someone here may be able to help with. I need to sand four or more rooms and a hallway in my house. The floorboards are fit for purpose and in the long run better (£) than carpetting throughout. I would like to avoid though paying £2.50+ per sheet though at the hire...

    Concrete Path Needs Replacing

Thank you Hugh. I am also now wondering whether it might be easier... to do it with gravel and a few slabs, once the old path has been removed. Will have a look here to see the right layer combination (sand, dry mix, gravel/slabs etc) and whether the more porous nature of gravel is not a...

Hello Dan, thanks for asking. In the interim I had the same guy back (as removed the fire) who spoke to the boiler technical team and thereafter took the 'plastic box' out and replaced it, seems it was the transformer that had melted, as could be seen on the outside of the box once it had...

Gas Fire Gone, Now Boiler Follows..

Hi Fireman T Thanks for the reply. Yes other gas appliances all work and he was gas safety registered. The boiler did work immediately after as I had a shower. Then not. It's 3 years old so I was surprised (perhaps I shouldn't be) to see it go within a couple of hours of the gas being...

Gas Fire Gone, Now Boiler Follows..

I had a gas fire professionally removed recently and a few hours later our gas boiler stopped working. Odd coincidence. The boiler just will not switch on. It is not a fuse issue. Might it be to do with something else related to the earlier removal? Like to get an idea before spending...
