Try turning off your mains water stop tap. & then replace the faulty blue tap.

I have a Combi & a water meter, But havn't got one of those. All seems to work OK.

Im just a DIYer but there will be a temp control on the boiler panel, turn that up & check what the pressure gauge is showing should be about 1.5bar. Hope this helps until a Pro comes along. JonB

Dear Mick As you have got no sense to your question, Yes you would get a gush of water. You can buy new inserts for most types of taps. But you will have to to turn off the water first. A good soak with DW might help in loosening the siezed parts. How to turn off the water depends on type of...

I always keep a small capacity pen drive, just for transfering photos to Asda from my comp. Just have on what you want taking off & then you're not wasting time in the shop sorting. JonB
