Chrome finish pipe covers. Where do you get 'em?

You can get rad snaps from any DIY store although obviously they wont cover a long piece of pipe. Are these what you mean?

    Fitting A sHOWER

I dont think anybody is doubting that you could do it, just that you need to have the work certified afterwards if doing it yourself (which will be hard to find a sparky willing to do that) or get a sparky to do the install. The cable size depends on a few things, the length of the run, how it...

    raise shower tray

I've just done this for the same reasons as you stated. I built a platform for my tray to stand on. It was basically lengths of 2x4 timber sandwiched between 2 sheets of thick plywood. My shower tray was a quadrant tray (rounded corner) so i shaped the plywood sheets to match the contour of...

    Removable bath panel - how?

At a guess i'd say the panel is between 12-15mm thick. I would've thought thats thick enough if i used short self tapping screws....maybe!

    Removable bath panel - how?

I didnt look at the picture properly, i thought the roller half would've fixed on the inside of the panel. Mirror screws are a possibility, i dont suppose i'd need many.

    Removable bath panel - how?

Hi chaps, i am in the final stages of fitting my bathrrom suite. I want to have the bath panel as easy to remove as possible. The instructions say to screw into place but i dont want the screw heads on show at all - the panel was really expensive. Has anybody got any good suggestions of...

    Capping unwanted pipe

Thats the one pal!! Is there an easy way to dispell water from the pipe i'm soldering onto. I cut water to this pipe at the weekend and it seemed to drip all day long - would this affect the soldering quality?

    Capping unwanted pipe

Hi Chaps, Just refitting my bathroom. The water pipe supplying the toilet cistern currently comes out of the wooden floor. As i have stripped the walls back to studs i would like to hide my pipework within the walls. It'd be easier for me to take the toilet cistern supply the cold water...

    Bloody winds - fence posts

Chaps, Sorry to bring this back up again. i found yesterday that whoever replaced the posts before had dug a really wide hole and filled with concrete. I have had to dig around the concrete to get it out leaving me with an even wider hole - approx 2ft diameter at the top. I would like to put...
