View straight up from old bedroom. Flat board is the underside of the valley gutter. Rafters are tied onto a plate that runs across the joists (just under the insulation in the pic)

I am concerned that the partition walls are now actually giving some support to the joists now that they have moved. I'll be leaving these in place for now.

Problem area (exposed) is along party wall in old bedroom and part of the landing.

This is the soundest looking part of the lot. Wall plate laps into terrace brickwork next to old conduit.
