    Rendering

    Probably would be best to remove down to brick now . If you try to go over it again you will be out beyond drip checks on cills and downpipes etc. I recommend going down to brick .........be carefull no heavy duty Kangos ie minimum just to chip it off. SBR/cement slurry coat then scratch coat ...

    Garage piers

    Is it acceptable practice to use common brick as Piers or Butts on a medium density( 7n) block. Standard size block single skin (4"). Garage is 6MX4M gables are 4m to apex. Have only did brickwork ones. Don`t see how the block butts are done without cutting? Surely they are not built behind...
