Have some very large cornice to put up for my mother in law.
Its proper plaster moulding and I have to say it intimidates me.
The wall drop is just under 6" but the ceiling section is 13.5".

The sink is 2ml out apparently - agreed - silicone would have been a better option - then seal afterwards - 2 jobs covered by one mastic

Basically a ceramic sink has been installed on a natural stone(travertine I believe - maybe Jerusalem Stone) top on a vanity unit.
It was done last week - at least three days ago
Would heat do it? Hairdryer perhaps?

I have a couple looking to put in a wood burner in a recently opened up fireplace.
The only issue is the concrete hearth has cracked.
I've offered to build a new brick base but they want the level kept the same.
Is there a leveling compound suitable for fireplaces or should I skim with...

excellent little project. Wood burners are fantastic and can't recommend them enough.
Its difficult to see from the pics - just ensure that arch is supported!
For regs you'll need a 6" air gap around the wood burner.

I've just begun to install some engineered wooden floors. However, in storage they have warped slightly. There is a lift in one end normally but certainly no more than 4mm at most. Is there a way to unwarp these boards or a way to fix them bending them back into shape?
