thanks deadjoe for your help, were up and running now. it was a registry fault and "desktop hijack fix 1.2 sorted it out and it's running ok ,antivirus is downloaded and i hope it keeps things in ordered..thanks again.

ok i did the malawarebytes and it did the trick.im'e left with a bright blue desktop with all the icons,the computer works in browsers ok,but when you try to alter the desktop in display properties,it won't let you.Themes-screen saver-appearence works ok.

got the adeck disabled,but now the active desktop won't load,tried to do a system restore but it just hangs there,did a scan with spy-bot and the result is "trojan.vundolsd6" i downloaded ad-adaware to try and get rid of it but it' still there..if i do a fresh install,will it still be hid on the...

Did it....copied all the folders from the disc into my documents,and then sent them to cd drive..copied...done.. :D

i've bought print shop basics cd,i want to make a backup copy incase the original gets damaged,although i did make a backup with the wizard thing,but it's not showing the same applications as the original cd.should there be other software in place.

The flame on our gas cookers oven wouldn't go high,so i assumed it was the thermostat,i replaced it with a new one and the flame was still the same.Had to buy the full valve because the thermostat is incorperated inside of the valve, would anybody know what the problem could be?..thanks in advance
