Hi David, I have uploaded larger images without issue, can you email the image that fails and I'll have a deeper look. The maximum size allowed was 10 Megabytes, (I have just increased this limit to 15 Megabytes). Email [email protected]

    Gigantic ads

There was a change John, it shouldn't apply to those logged in, but I think it has unfortunately. I will look into it John, and let you know. Were you logged in? If everyone followed those advocating the other route there would be no site.

Font size changes being automatically removed.

Space is a character (ASCII 32). In this case the underlying software is removing empty tags, as it considers a lone space as 'empty'. There are many cases where empty tags are left in a post and so they are cleaned out.

    New site terms

No problem :) Regarding usernames, when we delete user accounts we are now routinely renaming their username at the same time. This functionality we hope to have built into the user cancellation mechanism in due course as well.

    Can't type properly

While updating to v2 is on the radar, it will not be anytime soon. The core software acts as a base on which many other things are built. Due to the re-write of v2 these 'extras' are not compatible and need to be re-coded and adapted to work. Some of these are in progress and it is a path we...

    Spurious "message to long" error

Sometimes when things are copied & pasted, extra characters come along for the ride (not necessarily visible). This is most probably what has happened in this case. Depending on browser you can right click and 'paste as plain text' or if you use the 'Use the BB code editor' button on the reply...
