Still think its safer not to have two circuits in a switch in a domestic reg or no reg and best to have landing and downstairs passage on same circuit if usimg a two gang switch
It was always what we were taught we always had to put labels inside the switches whwn we come across them. Its pretty dangerous to have two circuits in same switch in a domestic I think
It is normal that a downstairs passage light would be on the same circuit as the upstairs passage light to avoid two circuits being fed from two different fuses at the switch and therefore having a potential of 400 volts at the switch.
The ones you have are they fed with a two core cable then a three core interlinking to the other one if they are then connect the others using a three core same connections. They need to be conected so if one goes off they all do
Are the others just battery opperated?or mains too
Are you saying the old gas incomer[which is already bonded] is being removed/replaced or that new copper pipe work is being fitted to the one thats there and new pipiework is being taken around the building then back in to your boiler?
That would need working out taking a few things in to consideration eg load[diversity]cable run/length etc really your spark should be able to work that one out using the regs on-site etc
