    Thanks very much for that.... To follow on from that then, is there a minimum "gap" that you need to leave the pipe in? Obviously the flooring that is being chipped back will need tiling over as it will be in front of the unit, but I read somewhere that you need to allow these pipes at least...

    Apologies for being a total layman - I dont know... Up to about 3 cm below the stopcock "tap" itself, the pipe is black and looks plastic/rubbery. Its roughly 20mm in diameter. Cheers!
