power to the solenide checked and ok. The power to the gas valve operator ok and when swapped with a neighbors boiler of the same modle works fine. Can any body tell me if the gas valve on this modle can stick or go faulty in its self or is this rare, there is gas to the bottom of the valve...

Sorry SoggyWheetabix i didn't check the power to the solenoide will do this next. (i've learnt by my mistake). Oh and Kevplumb i ment burner not pilot sorry. Have you guys got any other ideas or heard of a boiler with the same symptoms, we need this fixed but its the weekend now. HELP PLEASE!!

having trouble with my turbomaxVUW242E It seems to go through all of the motions fan on pump on etc and sparks but doesnt light the pilot. I shoud say when i turn on the boiler at the switch it shows the heating calling for heat but it is already locked out. Only when i reset the lockout does it...
