    Help required with radiator.

Sir, you are a star  I looked at the hemp yesterday, but time was against me and I fancied having some more info before I tried. Googling for Hemp returned some interesting results  A bit of goo looked like a good option for a fast fix before I went out. Should have worked...

    Help required with radiator.

Cheers ChrisR, I hope not to go down the araldite route! Funny part is, I've emailed Jaga tech support again today and I quote :- Use normal PTFE, pile enough on and it won't leak! Perhaps they mean I should mumify the rad  Clearly they make rads...

Gents, due to time restrictions I tried the LSX system yesterday evening, all went well until it started leaking ;-( Odd really, the radiator filled the whole thing was fine. 10min later it's dripping from both sides! So this evening it's time for hemp and boss white. Can I ask a...

    Help required with radiator.

ChrisR, don't get me started on this one  As you can see from the instructions I posted with the link Jaga suggest you bring the pipes out at the same height on the wall, which I did, plastered and tiled them in. A fantastic job even if I say so myself. Then I unpacked the heating element...

Hi ollski, OK I missed that, however in mitigation it was 12.41 am and I'd been lifting 40KG of rad on and off the wall since 10am ;-( It's a real pain to fit this one. Many thanks for the info, my apologies for missing the point, your advice is much appreciated. I'll go and pick...

    Help required with radiator.

Hi ollski, thanks for the reply, as I said in my post. I put buckets of PTFE on them (at least 10 winds at one point). They still leak, big time, especially the T-Piece. I put them in as tightly as was comfortable and still they leak. Regards CC.

    Help required with radiator.

Hello, I'm having some real issues with the radiator pictured below. The manufacturer (Jaga) supplied the valves and a T-Piece for the thing. They suggest that you just PTFE them and screw them in and it will be all happy. It's not, they leak and quite a bit. The T-piece is no where...

    Bathroom connections

    Bathroom connections

Yep, my sparky is on holiday in Spain at the moment :( he will be inspecting and signing it off. However the room will be plastered before he gets back, which was not in the plan. Hence the question here, I don't plan to plaster and then rip it all up again. So any more helpful advice would be...
