they are a bunch of mupets, and havnt got a clue. they have people working on gas without there corgi too

just did the 2 day unvented course at leeds college, learnt a thing or two, glad i went. passed it .thinking back at the cylinders i have fitted and i know now what bits i have done wrong etc. cheers guys for opening my eyes :wink:

just an update on this. spoke to our HR departement today, and they must have pooped there pants because they have me and 2 others going on the course for unvented cylinders ASAP £260 each bloke and its a 2 day course. so thats good news. the other thing is the guys gravity fed hot water...

ok now i understand the difference. it is the type of coil thats inside then. so in the original its just a small coil going from the inlet and coiling down 10 inch to the outlet. water cools down and drops back to the boiler. in the new cylinder the coil goes down 10 inch then back up 10 inch...

can it have a pump for the ch and gravity hw? but both use the same header tank?

better pump means , better than the one already fitted
