    Best Emulsion Paint Q

Thanks for your insight and not the sarcastic response. Too much.. I make a good living from decorating and I also employ decorators who I can normally discuss issues with. We have to water down the Dulux anyway. So aware that the only person loosing perhaps because of the coverage of the paint...

    Best Emulsion Paint Q

It means you don't know. You have not a clue between Leyland and Dulux, although there is a significant price difference.

    Best Emulsion Paint Q

Probably this has been posted before. I want to use the best emulsion paint for my client, but I'm also cost conscious. Im happy with the dulux stuff. Leyland seems to me to be a reasonable and cheaper alternative. Am I missing something? You can pick up the leyland paint for £15 a litre...

RCD spur instead of new breaker switch on NN board

Hi I have an NN board that requires an upgraded RCD switch as I'm altering a lighting circuit. As these aren't freely available is it possible to run the alteration off an RCD spur attached to the wall? I'm moving a light switch. Thanks.

Wylex NN board, can rcbo's be fitted?

    Alternative to Farrow and Ball

My decorating shop will mix it up in a leyland base and I'm happy with the results. I think last time was about £25 for 10litres and I was happy with the results. I think the shade will be slightly off though. just my 2 cents.

bleaching white emulsion walls prior to repaint

Thanks but it is a vast old office space with high ceilings and crossmembers. They really are the dirty part and for the additional labour cost in wiping don't I think my quote would be competitive. They did just ask for everything to be "whitewashed". I'd like to know how the residue from...

bleaching white emulsion walls prior to repaint

I've got a job repainting walls and ceilings in white emulsion. However the walls are filthy and I think I could save some time spraying them with a weak bleach solution to save on the amount of coats they'll need. Will this compromise the new coat of emulsion and what residue does bleach...
