    Is it because it would have too much movement and damage the joints? I have bought some laminate foam for £1 pm2 but am curious why you cant use carpet underlay.

    What direction to lay laminate

    I had a feeling that might be the best way to do it. the only problem with that is the entrance door to the flat is the one that is betwen the lounge and the wc , meaning that when you enter the flat, the run of the floor will run from left to right. whats your thoughts on that?

    Hi Chaps Ive put a rough floorplan of my flat here I want to lay wood laminate all through the flat (except bathroom and wc) what im not sure about is if it will look ok just laying it continuasly through the whole flat i.e no joints between rooms do you think it would be better...

    SO It turn out that whatever is on their side of the meter IS NOT theirs . But whatever ins on their side of the MAIN SERVICE FUSE is theirs. When the guy from DNO (lets call him Dino as thats an apt name i reckon) came round he looked at the fuse board in my flat and checked that cut out...

    I did in the end and they came and sorted it Im a bit busy at the moment but i'll let you know later what happened with the pics that I took (incase anyone is interested :o) It may be handy for people that have this problem in the future .

    But you cant use all the pc based programmes anywhere you go, and if you dont back up and your harddrive packs up then you are knackered + the invoicing setup makes your company look very proffessional when emailing/posting invoices. Also i have been very happy with the support that they give you.

    Yes I pay to EDF. Im really curious now to find out what the case is. I think I will call them again tomorrow and say what john said if they give me any more jip. for the amount i pay in electric they should at least come and take a look. Thanks for all your help peeps

    Excellent Info John Thank you What sort of wording should I be looking for? Just anything that mentions fuse? On the tags on those black boxes there are labels attached that say do not remove as it is illegal etc. who would have put them on? the DNO? if that is the case, does that...
