Corsa FAULT No power and cuts out??

Rash Where did you get the car from? If it's a garage take it back and make a noise until they fix it. If it's a private sale then tough I'm afraid.

Corsa FAULT No power and cuts out??

Given that it had no water in it and the water that you put in ran out shortly afterwards my guess is the head gasket is gone too.

    RAC/AA recovery

I switched from the RAC to the AA a few years ago. We didn't have many breakdowns but I found the RAC never came out in less than 2 hours sometimes 4. Each time they came out to me the mechanic would ask when I called then express suprise that I'd had to wait so long as he'd been sitting at home...

    Isaac Asimov

He wrote lots of SciFi, short stories and science articles/books. I like his stuff but it isn't spectacularly profound literature, more of a light read before bedtime type of stuff.

My 16 year old lad is just starting a furniture making course at Gloucester College and they've been given a list of tools which they ought to start accumulating. Among the list is a number 5 plane. Now I can get a second hand Stanley for about £20 or so from Ebay or I can get a brand new Rekord...

Slaves held for 15 years in kennels and horse boxes

What gets me is that according to the BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-14871318 the police have had reports about this going back to 2008 but don't seem to have done anything about it. Which is really disgraceful if you ask me.
