As SithLord Hood says, it will never do what you want it to do economically. It was obviously designed as a temporary measure to be used for something else. Take it down and build a proper extension or move to a bigger home. Don't throw away good money trying to make it work for you.

It looks to me as though there may be a need for a neutral as without one the load appears to need to be limited to 5 Watts, about the same as a single LED lamp. Op does not say what will be switched.

You appear to have a mixture of copper and plastic push fit fittings. Can't see from your pics which ones feed the tap. Once you have estabished wich fitting you need to disconnect it is just a case of draining the pipework and disconnecting which fiting you need to by slidng the collar back and...

As country fan says if the fitting had not failed you could well have ended up with a split pipe which would have been more difficult to repair

AFAIK you need one suitably sized for every room you wish to heat. The heat pump needs to be sized to suit the whole house. Much the same as traditional heating. You will need to get the appropriate calculations done by a heating engineer
