3 years!! I've had a floor standing Ideal boiler for 18 years without failure; likewise an Ideal wall boiler (also not condensing) for 9/10 years with no problems at all. To have something keep failing every 2 or 3 years strikes me as appalling.

Sorry to sound ignorant, but where abouts is the 5 pin plug? Is the PCB the "brain" that runs it?

The above boiler has stopped working. No lights on it at all. Pump etc. seems to get going when timer comes on. Has anyone any idea what the problem could be. Looking at instruction book seems not to be a boiler problem, but more that there is no electricity to it. The programmer etc. light...
