This is nothing for you to be worrying about! Get a engineer that knows what hes doing to fix it instead of you poking around trying to figure how it works before you kill someone! No one on here will give you any advice when it comes to controls with gas and combustion.

From what your saying it sounds like your 3 port valve is stuck in mid position. So when you call for hot water alone it heats your heating also

You replace it by paying someone £70 to call and do the job rigth! It means disconnecting a water joint above the pcb which if a drop of water gets on ul be in serious trouble!

Get a local gas engineer, the stats could be tested to see if there faulty but your already down money replacing and working on things you have no idea about. I know what the problem is and no parts will be needed! Pay someone who can repair it safely

If the siphon was supplied with the cistern it should fit unless you have fitted it wrong.otherwise you need a different siphon. Ie one with cord to push button
