    It will work fine from a combi, minimum pressure 1 bar it says. Also says for use with combi boiler ;) i fit these all the time, great pressure! It wouldnt do any harm fitting a check valve incase the shower becomes faulty and passes.

    Hot and cold pumped , shower should be equal pressure. By what your saying is the hot is stonger pressure which it shouldnt. Depends where the poor pressure is. Tho theres filter on the inlet connection on the shower and also the connections on the pump

    Very easy to change. Pick one up from a supplier and ask him. You dont need to replace the whole thing. But again ask him to show you as its hard to explain. Turn mains water off and open hot and cold tap and drain roughly half a tank as this makes it easyier to change

    Is it a twin pump? Both hot and cold should be the same. There is filters fited at the connection so quiet possible dirt has blocked a filter.

Certain manufactures request you to fit in a certain position to cover warranty and to stop air etc it should never pump into a cylinder so that rules out (a) it should be position on the outlet of cylinder at the base of it...

    Sorry but thats what i meant when saying "stuck" sometimes they seize. Didnt want to go into much detail. The diaphragm isnt doing ist job are the flow switch isnt working. Either way he needs someone in to fix it. All you had to do was correct me ;)

    Diverter valve isnt operating the flow switch. Its stuck r needs replaced. Part it self isnt too expensive

    Ooo sorry lol your pumps ****ed and new expansion vessel needed,take the cap if front of pump and if its not spinning when turned on its gone. Pretty easy to change tho still expensive as they are a rated pumps these days

    The fault is staring at you! You have two problems by the sounds of it. Get a gas safe engineer in to have a look at it. Not allow to give advice on boilers. Parts you need are pretty expensive and not a diy job

    It could be a number of things but your going to need a boiler engineer to look at it, does sound like a circulating problem are could be diverter valve stuck in hot water position are faulty ntc! All of which can be tested to see if there working before being replaced
