    Radiator Sludge

It shouldn't be necessary, but you are, where you are, and need to find a solution. One, who knows what he's about, should be enough, but these are commercial businesses, out to make a profit, from you the customer. The better informed the customer, the better able they are able to know what...

Electric heater plug just exploded - what would have caused that?

There is also the possibility, that the socket has been over-loaded in the past, by plugging in a full 3Kw load. That would cause the initial damage, then further use with a 2Kw load, was enough to expose the problem over time.

I WONDER IF ANYONE CAN OFFER ANY SUGGESTIONS ON MY PROBLEM.

I had the very same issue, with a laptop, many years ago. The only way to reconnect, was to reboot it. I never got to the bottom of the problem, and it only affected that one computer.

    Radiator Sludge

I would suggest, that your best way forward, is to study how central heating systems work, then you will be better armed to understand what is said on this forum - they are not particularly complex, to understand just the basics. With just a bit of understanding, you will be able to tell us the...

What have you been doing today?

I was on them for around three years, before the serious side effects (anxiety/panic attacks) began showing up, beginning in April last year. What have you been doing today?

Well, yesterday - I'm always a day behind.... I had face to face appointment with my CKD kidney consultant. Shed roof at lowest point is all wet. Why?

Moisture in the air, in the shed, will have condensed out, and frozen, on the underside of that roof. When warmer weather came, the ice melted, then the water ran down the roof, to the lowest point, which is the roof timbers. Not a problem, it will quickly dry out. The only way to avoid it, is...

Any particular reason for using that paint? I just painted them with brushed on, acrylic paint, to freshen them up, and they look fine.

    Air India plane crash

The nearest most of us come to 'action slip', is when driving, particularly a manual geared vehicle, though obviously not the same level of complexity. I find my 'auto-pilot' muscle memory, generally works much better, than thinking about what I'm doing.

Which Type of Boiler / System?

No real benefits, but a potential for more leaks due to extra pressure. The only real benefit, being both loft tanks will be no longer needed.

What are you watching on TV right now?

Only watched E1 so far, but initial impression is - some very long scenes, a lot of dialogue, and a lot of good handheld camera work (from an extremely fit camera operator). It needs a lot of attention to follow it closely.
