    Yale Smarthome Alarm

OK first things first you I'm assuming you mean the Yale smart alarm ENA-Kit1 or kit 2...........do NOT confuse this with the Yale smartphone alarm which is a DIY gimmick alarm which seems to have taken a lot of flak. The Smart alarm really is first class and a serious compeditor to the...

Yale HSA6400 or Yale Easy Fit Telecommunication Alarm?

If I was buying, I would buy the HSA6400 as the only real difference is the operating frequency which the Yale EF runs on 868 and the 6400 runs on 433Mhz......save your pennies!!

The pmax complete comes with a siren in the kit.....the pmax express is an older panel that has a gsm built in.. Start withe pmax complete and then add extras such as gsm or powerlink2 modules... And make sure you buy from a uk stockist as there is a huge import issue from outside uk and...

    Response Globalguard Review

Is perfect but the main reason for using AVTECH is the remote viewing software......by far the best on market....... BTW Alarm to use is the powermax....the powermaster is seriously complex and you will get no support from anywhere as its pro install only...

    Response Globalguard Review

Hi, I would go for the powermax as the powermaster really is very specialised and a lot more money.....The powermax complete kit is a good starting point...it has three zone arming and you can add the Powerlink 2 module for internet connectivity. You can add cameras BUT they are not that good...

Easy Fit SmartPhone Alarm vs SmartHome Alarm

Sorry to hear this BUT as I previously stated the alarm is more of a gimmick than a real communicating system....... The Yale Smart Alarm ENA-kit2 is the unit to fit....far far superior than the smartphone alarm.....

yes using the samsung cams, cat5 will be perfect and capable to do the job effectively as they are 100mA current consumption..

    New CCTV equpitment advice

Personally if it were me I'd use shotgun cable all day long........CAT5 is preferable for runs of 70M - 250M and using non IR cams or running power locally ( seperately)...you need to use baluns for video. BUT for runs typically domestic I'd go with shotgun..much more reliable. Nothing worng...
