    Ive fitted both and they are both excellent alarms indeed with no serious issues........ Probably the Yale is slightly better in terms of signal, battery efficency...new design ect..... you wont go wrong with either....trawl the net you will find good prices on the smart....

    I would say 1500 pound is about right for a full system.....you just need to check out what DVR/cams they are fitting as this will be key......     Yale HSA6400 possible siren issue

    OK ive fitted a few of these...the siren sounding and not displaying a fault on the log is a classic case of the tamper on rear of siren...... Take off wall and stretch spring on rear of siren.....OR pack the spring out... Its quite common on this siren when its several years old!

    Actually I think you will find ADT have just signed a deal with Visonic.... That's really bad news for us Visonic fans as no doubt ADT will trash the brand name with their shabby installs....

    You could put a Y spilitter for 2 monitors....there may well be some picture degredation ie a little more grainy BUT if more than 2 then certainly you should use a distribution amp ( just like tv). The other point to take note of is that you will stress the Video o/p IC by loading multiple...

    Cctv picture issue

    As previous post.....check connections as you are getting EMI currents induced in coax...... You may also want to replace the power supply as it could be "noisy".. Try to avoid running 240Vac cables near to coax/12Vdc cables.... Rgds Matt
