    I had the same problem on a Citroen ZX 1.9 D, the top engine mounting is only fastened with 8mm setscrews into helicoiled threaded holes. If the bolts are not torqued properly the you can expect trouble.

    There is very little difference changing a spring on a cavalier or a escort etc, yes you do have to undo the drive shaft nut as on any front wheel drive cars, you also have to remove the brake caliper from hub, don't left the caliper hang on the flexible hose.

    Have you used the correct bulb, it looks like you have fitted a stop & tail bulb, check the other side and get the same bulb, that should cure the problem.I had this problem once on a VW and someone had fitted a wrong bulb and the side lights came on when the brake pedal was pressed. regards johnwr

    I agrre with sm1thson, diesel on wet road is very dangerous. I think you should find a dry and quiet road and try stopping several times from say 30mph at increasing pressures until you get wheel lock (if you lock a wheel let off quickly), this will tell you if you have any braking problems...

    I agree with neo, if your Kangoo has a Valeo clutch then they do tend to get very heavy when they wear down if they are the same clutch as fitted to Puegeot and Citroen vehicles. regards johnwr
