FIESTA "L" REG.....BLUE SMOKE ON START UP !!!!

You can change the valve stem oil seals without taking the head off, you have to buy a special tool( not much money) it's fairly easy to do, might be best to get hold of a manual. This ought to help with the blue smoke. BTW the car will fail the MOT if it has excessive smoke. johnwr

    New sport born?

I myself can't come to terms with people having Range Rovers et al, when the hardest bit of driving they have to do is negociating the speed bumps at Sainsbury's  . I have nothing against people who live in the more mountainous regions of this country having 4*4s. It's surely not good for...

Fiat Doblo van 1.9 diesel engine - is it crop?

If you have only just bought this van from a dealer, I would take it back and get a refund, if they start to squeal then get in touch with trading standards and ask there opinion. I am surprised that the head needs replacing at such a low mileage, it might be that the main dealer is taking...

    Citroen clutch pedal problems

Thanks for the feedback, with regards to the light clutch action, this is normal when the clutch is replaced. I bought a new berlingo 3 years ago and when the car went in for some recall work they lent me a new berlingo and I was amazed at the difference.

    Fiesta handbrake warning light?

hello ratm, it's not a competition but it does help if you get your facts right and not your idea's of how cars should be wired up. There are a lot of drivers who are confused with a minimum of instrumentation so adding more lights would make it even worse. The warning light generally is only a...

The same happened a few years ago to some d*ckhead driving a HGV down the M1, he said he couldn't stop it and the silly plods believed him. Switching off the engine would have stopped it.
