Yes door contact was removed, how do you see the resistance? The C and O?

If it measures zero ohms does this mean the sensor is fault? i even used a short wire at the keypad and still didn’t work, tested the cable running to garage by linking it and it works fine. Im just going to return the sensor!

Changed and now doing the opposite, staying closed not opening when moving the magnet

I know I mentioned that earlier, but would this have an effect on it being open circuit?

Sorry for the late reply, i attempted this again today and it shows Open circuit, I have attached some pictures ( note that I just realised I didn’t put a 2k2 resistor in but dont think this should be the problem right?) Blue goes to - on keypad Green goes to Z2

Shows around 0.000ohms when closed and open is open so looks to be working fine

Can this be done without being physically wired up?

I coded it yes, final exit input 74 no errors, Set the alarm it counted down, then moved the door contact, hoping it would then count down 30 secs but it does nothing. Could it be faulty?

Thanks I’ll get that wired up and see how it goes. Another question about an internal door contact thats set as final exit doesn’t seem to do anything. Heres my wiring Red going back to Z2 on keypad Black going back to - on keypad Input 74 What my doing wrong? Thanks.

Hello again, So I have 2 white wires (zone) 2 red wires ( tamper) And a blue and green coming from the junction panel. How do I wire this with EOL I have the 6 terminal junction box.

Will 2 wires back to control panel be adequate?
