I’m with T on this you could use a small mirror and point the burner into the boiler and check for spark. Bob

Yup let the pressure out of the boiler then pump vessel up to 1 bar then pump up the boiler to 1 bar see how it goes. Bob

A flush with Brit gas is about £650-00p and last time I heard a length of 22mm copper pipe was £64-00p so I’d go for it. Bob

Never mind the clicking when you want ch is the circulating pump running if so the flow switch is jammed in the on position and hw is taking priority over ch which means you may need a new flow switch. Bob

Make sure you have the pump set on right setting that’s a para pump and they need to be set for running on rads not for underfloor. Bob

Usually if the pump is on the left side then the pump spins right.If it’s on the right it spins left. Bob

Mag was blocked seen this on loads of British Gas installs they flush the system but don’t clean it properly which leaves loose sludge that’s the prob. Bob

What I do if boilers overheating is take off all aavs and make sure the boiler is properly filled with water aavs sometimes block and you get a couple of inches of air which jumps up and down and creates all sorts of bother sounds daft but since doing this I’ve had no bother. Bob
