I had a problem with an ecu on a 51 plate 1.2 punto sits on top of inlet manifold Engine misfired no spark from one coil pack. Sent ecu for repair to Ecu- testing .com (find on ebay} EXCELLENT SERVICE fixed for £100. Recommened to replace coils with ecu repair good luck Paul

:) 8) :D Thanks for your help. I replaced the engine management double relay cost £12, around three weeks ago (1000miles approx), no fault , touch wood! :D . So if you experience a similar fault, for the cost of the relay i would try this,its a 2 minute job.

Has anybody had any experience with a citreon picasso 2.0 hdi engine (diesel),having intermittent non start/cutting out fault. Changed the fuel pump in the tank about 2 months ago, run fine.But has now decided to not start /cut out again. Towed home by AA, who couldnot get it going, but left...

I have a fiat punto 1.2 on a 51 plate. when you stop the car Apply the handbrake and switch off, sometimes the dash warning lights stay on with the key removed. But if you switch off engine,then apply the handbrake all is fine. Any ideas?

Hi to me it seems that you heater control valve has packed up.They are electrical operated are are quite common to fail.You could remove it and clean it out it might be sticking.To find it, open the bonnet and it is situated on the bulkhead in front of you.

This message is a bit late now,but next time, jack up the vehicle,remove rear wheel,check the brake backplate,if it is held on by 4 bolts,remove the bolts and the drum and hub will come off together,no need to struggle with the hub nut.

I have repaired dented plastic bumpers many a time(as you do trying to keep that fleet of red vans on the road).But i have used a steam wallpaper stripper to warm up the bumper.A tip is if you can keep the dented area under pressure while its warmed up,this can be acheived by using a bottle jack...
