[hi mick sounds like your automatic choke is staying on longer than normal your choke works with the water in the car when the water gets to the correct temp the choke should go of is their anti freeze in your car and is the car heating up ok try spraying the throtal linkages with wd40

[if your pads are woren they can have a littel movement wich can cose them to squeak puting some copper slip on the back of the pads dampens the nose had same porb with my corsa

if you phone you local vauxhall centre they will be happy to tell you the torc settings be carefull with the bridge bolts as they can be very tight you will need a 10mm allan key for the brige and a 7mm allan key for the caliper remember to change the pads at the same time as the discs use...
