[hi mick sounds like your automatic choke is staying on longer than normal your choke works with the water in the car when the water gets to the correct temp the choke should go of is their anti freeze in your car and is the car heating up ok try spraying the throtal linkages with wd40

[ hi on most vauxhalls the water pump is also a tenchenar for the belt there is a dedicated vauxhall site cauld vauxhall micanics tecnical support try them they are very helpful

did you check the fuses id do that first

dose it wistel when you pres the culch if so it could be the thrush baring if not dose it cleer if you give the car a rev

[if your pads are woren they can have a littel movement wich can cose them to squeak puting some copper slip on the back of the pads dampens the nose had same porb with my corsa

try chapping a socket offer the lock nuts and try to get them that way

[hi did eny water or oil get in to the gearbox if not the cluch should be fine

[ if you phone you local vauxhall centre they will be happy to tell you the torc settings be carefull with the bridge bolts as they can be very tight you will need a 10mm allan key for the brige and a 7mm allan key for the caliper remember to change the pads at the same time as the discs use...
