There is a small black square plastic adjustment on the D/Valve. Its a pig to get to and you need a 7 or 8 mm spanner. Its basically like a paddle so only a quater turn will turn down then back up to full. That is unless your inlet water supply is poo. Whats your cold tap like. Stan

If the fans gone it will have popped the board. If you replace the board only the fan will pop it again. Make sure you replace both :!: Stan

Just about any 3 port mid position valve will be fine. Honeywell are usually the best in my opinion Stan

The Pump overrun will not cause the boiler to cycle on and off. The only reason for whats happening if the boiler is working OK on Hot water is the 3 way valve. If the wiring is wrong or the valve is stuffed it will bounce in mid position giving you just the syptom you describe. I suggest...

If I was you I would stop ****ing money up the wall with this whole heap of rubbish and invest the money you are trying to waste making it controlable and efficient on a decent system and boiler which is controlable and efficient! 40 pence of every pound you are burning is being wasted at least!

Try looking in the direction of the pump flow switch (bottom, back lefthand side). From memory, which is fading! the only usual course of no low speed fan is a stuck pump flow switch. Then again it could be the PCB or any number of other things on a boiler this age. Stan
