If you really want to use expanding foam this might help avaoid plaster board bulges....If you drill enough holes with a hole saw the excess foam will escape. You'll have lots of holes to fill though... :roll: Personally I'd take the plaster board down, I'm no expert though :lol: .

What you say about the Wylex box makes perfect sense as the fusebox is at least 4m away. :) So it sounds to me that as long as I find a reasonable (certified/qualified) sparky I should be able to run my own cables circuit by circuit, saving the sparky from doing the time consuming messey but...
