Thank you. I read on one of the threads here or another forum, someone claiming that using a rotatory hammer drill for bricks can damage the bricks as its too powerful for bricks! is that correcT?
Hi everyone,
I have a bosch cordless combi drill (green) that I have used for like 5 years. Has worked well, but takes forever to drill simple holes in brick walls of my 1930s house. I use masontry bits that came in bosch multi bit set. Recently I had got its chuck stuck after drilling in a wall...
Thank you, I used the screwdriver and then tapped with a hammer. It came loose, then just using my hands with a new pair of gardening gloves I managed to loosen it. It is working fine now. Also the jaws are closer to being fully aligned.
Hi everyone,
The keyless chuck of my bosch combi psb 1800 Li-2 is stuck. The teeth on the chuck (sorry dont know what they are called), were a bit out alignment but today it just got stuck when I was loosening it to replace a bit. Two of the teeths are out and the third seems to have fallen...
And it will require unscrewing everything, so may as well reverse the planks. If they appear very different, like discolored or anything, I can sand them! or use a darker stained oil. I dont know, will decide when I have time to do it next year.

So from my understanding so far and from reading numerous other posts and forums... Firstly yes decking should be installed at an angle to drain water along one end. If my decking was installed properly or not, I dont know because it was done 5 years ago by previous owners. There is clearly a...
Hello,
Decking of our new home has water pooling in the middle. See the attached image.
We moved in last year and the deck was in a very poor condition after this winter, it definitely got ignored by us over the winter amid the chaos of moving, but quite sure that previous owners also had not...
Hi all, looking for a bit of advice.
Re-Painting a fireplace front/surround. It is wood and would guess its pine because can see knots bleeding through in two spots. But the wood has a lot of wavy texture or pattern showing through old paint. Its not stain but uneven texture. I attach a pic and...
