Firstly I am a heating engineer so my question is to satisfy my own curiosity, I have been working on a small terraced out getting it ready to rent out, sadly its had a warm front fitted heating system, so I have had a few issues to correct. The electrician on the job had a few more issues...

    Biasi boiler

you need a gas safe registered engineer to take a look at it, it's not something an untrained person should be messing around with. I know it is probably not what you wanted to hear but it is the safest option, you could ask on here and see if anyone is local to you that can look at it.

    GlowWorm 30CXi completely dead

    GlowWorm 30CXi completely dead

I would disconnect the pressure sensor and see what happens then, if the pressure sensor goes it looks like a board fault when it isn't. The pressure sensor is easy to spot, pink salmon colour. it is one of the first things I test when I go to a glow worm with what looks like a faulty pcb...

    gloworm cxi30

Try removing the connection to the pressure sensor, think its a pinkish color, if everything comes back on then you need to replace it, sometimes when they fail it looks like a dead pcb when infact it is just the sensor

Biasi - What's The General Consensus?

I always thought the Biasi was a good boiler that was mostly fitted badly. I think the older models where the better ones, think they use plastic on there hydraulics group now instead of brass.

best advice, stop being tight and get some one qualified to work on boilers to fix it for you. Do you carry out the usual checks that an RGI would when replacing the components?

    Ravenheat RSF820/20T Not Firing Up

your not going to get much help on this one, best advice I can give you is get a registered installer in to fix the problem. You can check the thermocouple with a multimeter, should be getting around 30mv, but you should not be changing it yourself.
