Boiler replacement advice Vaillant or Potterton

I would personally still insist on power flushing your system before fitting any new boiler, that would put me at 2 days to fit, you mention having 22mm pipe I would still want to check that it is correctly sized for your new boiler. Dirty systems, under sized gas pipes are a sure fired way...

    Old Boiler not firing up

far as i know you can still get all the parts for this boiler, but you will need to order the gas valve as you have pointed out by the honeywell part number, keep the old beast running as long as you can, they don't make them like that anymore, the day will come when it will probably spring a...

    Ravenheat csi85

sadly it sounds like you have already taken the combustion chamber front off, this is beyond the scope of DIY, you really need a RGI out to sort it, it certainly wont fire up without the combustion chamber front on

    worcester 24i boiler

actually this boiler has a flow switch which are prone to failure, so it could be that if the boiler does not attempt to fire, simple continuity test on it will prove if it is working or not

    Boiler condensate trap?

would be very unlikely for a boiler not to have a trap built in, the trap on a boiler is used for a different reason than a normal sink trap, the trap in the boiler creates a water barrier to stop products of combustion from leaving the appliance via the waste pipe

Problems with halstead ace high combi boiler

sounds like the diaphragm needs replacing, as for the pressure rising that sounds like your expansion vessel either needs recharging or replacing, if you look outside you will probably see water dripping from the pressure relief pipe, if that is the case you will also need to have the pressure...

    Main Combi 24 HE boiler

time to get another RGI in, sounds a pretty simple fault to me, it is a fairly simple boiler inside and remember you shouldn't have to pay for any parts supplied that do not fix the problem

Hot water taking minutes (from combi)

tell us more about your boiler! do you have a 24kw or 30 kw? run the tap slowly, does it get hot? also put your hand on the left hand pipe at the bottom of the boiler, is it getting hot while the hot water is on? it could be your divertor valve playing up, plastic inside and they break easily
