Thought I recognized the insides to this boiler, looks more or less the same as the Sime I was moaning about in the CC last week, heat exchanger, pump and hydraulics the same
am pretty sure it is in there, i know by the time i got my unsafe situations book out someone else will have the answer, so am staying sat!! :D :D either way it would then not be fitted according to manufactures instructions
I would want to feel the flow pipe before the diverter valve and see just how hot it is getting, if it is really hot, that would hint that you need to be looking at the valve first
found your posts very confusing, but none the less, what happens when you turn the CH on? does the pump run? have you opened the valves on the heating? does the boiler fire up? have you checked that you haven't disconnected something whilst working on it?
ok am not sure but as long as there is nothing wrong with the service, i would have thought they would have just dug the one hole and come up with a house entry tee
thought that was just on there insurance cover? got a mate who works for bg and he says a lot of stuff is down to the engineer, however he did drive to hull some time ago to pick a heat exchanger up for a little old lady so she would have heating for the weekend, now i will leave you to guess...
