    BT Broadband disappointment.

I really dont see why people insist on installing the dum bt software (ok I DO know wh= its because BT tell them to !) I always advise people do ditch the free bt router and buy a proper one, up to them if they do. Anyway, back to the original problem, I'm not suprised your IT guy wasnt happy...

    More red tape on home-improvements?

I dont see why people in bigger houses (which usually means better areas) should pay more council tax at all. Heres why. A friend of mine that I grew up with on a scabby council estate (where my remaining family still live) now live in the biggest house I've ever been in, in the middle of...

    Mobo versus chip

Im still not convinced, the only time I have seen a psu fry (by voltage not heat) components is when they blow. The ones I have seen overheat cut out before hand - thats not to say it cant happen, but basing my point on how a psu works I cant see how, if the regs got that hot they would fail...

    Printer colour use

Long time ago since I saw a printer with only the one, they usually have at the least one colour (which contains yellow, magenta and cyan) and a black, more often now you have 6 or so. Anyways, when printing colour, unless printing yellow, magenta or cyan only then it will more than likely use...

    blue screen

I Agree, ths blue screens of death are anything but helpful, I dont recall the last one that was actually antyhing to do with the actual problem! Only this week for example I had one -unmountable_boot_volume - which would indicate, stangely enough that there was a problem with erm, the boot...

    Mobo versus chip

Some latops do indeed get to hot to sit on your lap - hence the name "notebook" As for you problems, you say the fan in the psu went, I cant see how a faulty fan in a psu would damage the cdrom and hard disk, it would have cut out LONG LONG LONG before it got hot enough to "sizzle" them, and...

yeah a lot do that, thing is, since you are actually breaking the law by speeding - regardless of if you slow down, you cant get away with saying it was entrapment :(

    Plastic welding

I'd relly look into getting a new one, if you glue it, chances are it wont be 100% straight and blanaced therefore causeing it to wobble, which will in turn stress the bearings and potentially cost a lot more than a fan. Not much help lol but thats my feelings on the subject.

but I'm sure he knew what I meant, I didnt go into detail because no one really cares what in them, its what they do that matters

How do I mount 2 screws EXACTLY level?

eh? so what, I almost always use a cordless, an SDS (of which I own a cordless) will still wander if say for eg you hit right at the edge of a brick - it would of course toddle off into the cement.

Indeed, OR it could be part of the new system that is going to aparantly measure how far we go and charge us accordingly.... Was passing through a major city the other week and there were loads of roadworks with signs stating that a new traffic management system was being installed.

    Upgrade price

flash drives arnt as reliable as cd's, but cd's/dvd's arnt 100% but you would still need to reinstall your programs but your registry would still be full of the previous entries so this would probably do more harm than good.
