How would I find that out? I have no plumbing know-how... :(

I live in a ground floor maisonette but every time my upstairs neighbour has a bath (every evening) and pulls out the plug I get very smelly water (eggy, drainy smell) coming up in my bath plug hole, and it's also very noisy. What is likely to be the problem and how can I fix it?
